It's reunion time for young star Janhvi Kapoor and Gunjan Saxena biopic director Sharan Sharma! As reported by Pinkvilla, the actor and the director will reunite for a movie set against the backdrop of cricket. The project will also get Janhvi's Roohi co-star Rajkummar Rao to share screen space with her. The movie is being backed by Karan Johar. It will go on floors by the end of 2021.
Rajkummar and Janhvi will reportedly be seen playing cricketers. The duo will be trained for it later this year. The report carries, “Sharan has been planning to make a film on this story for a while now and is now all ready to take it on floors. Both Rajkummar and Janhvi will be seen as cricketers in the film and will be training to learn the sport later this year. It’s a fictional tale loaded with emotions and feel-good elements.”
Also, before Janhvi kick starts with this flick, she will wrap up Helen -- which will go on floors in August. Besides this, she has Dostana 2, but the shooting schedule for the film remains unknown.
Rajkummar Rao, on the other hand, has wrapped the shoot of Hum Do Hamare Do, helmed by Abhishek Jain. He has also completed the shoot for Badhaai Ho sequel, Badhaai Do. He will now dive into the shoot of Hit, a remake of a Telugu movie.
